Many local families will know me as the former Headteacher of Bournemouth School for Girls for nearly two decades. I have now gone on to train with the International College of Professional Celebrants and adhere to the highest standards in caring for you as we prepare a fitting farewell for your loved one or a more happy occasion such as your wedding.
I am based in the New Forest and regularly work with local wedding venues, suppliers, funeral directors and crematoria across Dorset and Hampshire.
It’s my role to help you in any way that I can, so please do get in touch with any questions you may have. Be assured that the choices you make will be the right choices for you and your loved ones.
I trained to become a civil celebrant because I love helping to create occasions that bring people together to experience meaningful ceremonies. When we are telling the world how much we love someone, or mourning the loss of a special person in our lives, the right ceremony will help us pass over a threshold into a new chapter.
I will always embrace your ideas and wishes, guiding you towards structuring a memorable day. Whatever the celebration, happy or sad, I will work closely with you to create an occasion that perfectly expresses how you feel. From vows and music to readings and tributes I can write and deliver something special that will remain with you for ever. And whatever the occasion I hope that a smile is never far away.
I am comfortable incorporating faith-based beliefs and rituals, or none at all. I can bring different ways of thinking and belief together where there are contrasting traditions or new identities. I welcome the opportunity to support people from all cultures and communities. Most importantly, I will support whatever you want to do to celebrate, bringing people together in an inclusive and meaningful way.
We never forget those moments in our lives where the ritual of important ceremonies allows for deep human emotion. In carefully structured ceremonies, tears of joy or sadness can therefore flow freely.
Well, what can we say...you did us proud, such a beautiful service and a lot of fun.
And your second hat...also such fun for all of us...many left scratching their heads and asking 'how the hell did he do that?'
You helped make our day just perfect...it really didn't matter about the bad weather because we were in good hands.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Warmest regards
Terri & Mark
